The intervention at the Romanticism Museum, located in an 18th-century palace in Madrid’s historic center, represented a major technical challenge aimed at reconciling the building’s heritage conservation with its contemporary use as a museum. PROSKENE acted as site supervision manager within a restoration project that included the repair of the roofs, the façades of the courtyard, and the interior spaces, through the recovery of historic decorative elements and the incorporation of new building services.
